CPMS School Counseling

School Counselors provide support through multidimensional interventions and partnerships with community resources.  This  can include individual, group, and classroom counseling sessions that are short term and solution-focused. This support differs from the long term therapy and support that licensed therapists and mental  health counselors provide.

Information shared with the School Counselor is confidential. The School Counselor is obligated to break confidentiality when there is potential harm to the student or others, concern of neglect or abuse, or a court of law that requires testimony or student records.
